Lie Detector Test Slough & East Berkshire

    Know for Certain, This Week

People who reach this page have usually been turning the same question over for a long time. A polygraph test ends it: an answer backed by evidence, with the preliminary result before you leave. That includes clearing your own name, not only testing someone else. Our office is on the Bath Road in Slough, just off junction 6 of the M4, with parking onsite, and we take on a limited number of examinations each week.

    Single-Issue Testing for Accurate Results

    Relationship Test

    from £449

A suspicion does not fade because you stop talking about it. A relationship test takes the one issue that matters, examines it under controlled conditions on questions agreed with you beforehand, and gives you a clear result inside 24 hours. Whichever way it falls, the guessing stops.

    Book Now

    Couples Test

    from £695

When trust has gone on both sides, one test rarely settles it. A couples booking examines both partners on the same issue, separately, on the same day, and shares the results with you both. Agreeing to book together is often the first thing you have agreed on in months.

    Book Now

    Pre-Employment Screening

    from £549

References confirm what a candidate has chosen to tell you. For roles built on trust, cash, keys, vulnerable people, confidential data, a voluntary integrity screening fills in the rest before the contract is signed. Employers use it when an offer would be costly to withdraw.

    Book Now

    Theft Investigation

    from £499

Missing stock or money puts everyone in the building under suspicion, and that does more damage than the loss itself. Single issue testing clears people one at a time, on the same agreed questions, until the picture is plain. Those with nothing to hide usually ask to go first.

    Booked means booked

There are two ways to book a lie detector test in the UK. They are not the same.

    Most polygraph websites

    • 1Pay a deposit, often non-refundable
    • 2Fill in a form with your preferred dates
    • 3Wait for a call, typically 3 to 5 days out
    • 4Card only, an examiner assigned, a room hired for the day
    Booking here
    • See the actual calendar with real free slots
    • Pay in full, or secure eligible dates with a deposit
    • Spread the cost with Klarna at checkout
    • Confirmed the moment payment completes
    • Our own offices, our own examiners

A deposit here is not a place in a queue. It confirms a real appointment, instantly. To our knowledge, no other UK polygraph service offers instant confirmed booking or takes Klarna.

Evenings, weekends, or unable to travel?

Our home visit service brings the same examiners, the same instruments and the same instant booking to your own front room, seven days a week with the last examination starting at 8pm. Enter your postcode and see real visit times for your address.

    Your Examiner

Professional polygraph and lie detector testing facility in Slough

A note from your examiners: you will not find our names or faces on this website, and that is deliberate. The nature of this work means examiners here stay anonymous, and the same discretion that protects us is what protects every client we test. What we can tell you is that we are trained to police standards in interviewing, and that the words clients use most about their examinations are rarely the ones they expected to use.

"You are very calming." "Thank you so much for putting me at ease." Said to us by recent clients, during and after their examinations.

Every examination at our Bath Road office is conducted by an examiner trained to police standards in interviewing before qualifying in polygraph. That background shows in the room: patience, exact wording, and no judgement about why you are there.

Polygraph is unregulated in the UK, so the standards an examiner works to are a matter of choice. Ours are the American Polygraph Association's: validated techniques, annual continuing education and quality assured scoring. Nothing is improvised.

All examiners hold current Enhanced DBS checks.

Choosing a Legitimate Lie Detector Examiner

Nobody licenses polygraph examiners in the UK. The equipment can be bought online and a certificate can be printed at home. So before booking with anyone, including us, check for these things:

    Red Flags to Avoid

    • ✕No physical charts or data provided with results
    • ✕Home tests with no screening of the room or conditions
    • ✕Prices far below the going rate
    • ✕A result promised before the test has been run
    • ✕Multiple issues tested in one session
    • ✕No formal pre-test interview
    • ✕Unwillingness to explain the process
    • ✕No verifiable training or experience

    What We Provide

    • Comprehensive report with physiological charts
    • Private, solid-walled testing room at our Bath Road office, Slough
    • Computerised polygraph equipment
    • Single-issue testing for maximum accuracy
    • APA testing protocols followed
    • Full transparency about the process
    • Verifiable qualifications and experience
    • Professional, unhurried examination

Your charts come to you with the report. Heart rate, blood pressure, breathing and skin response, the actual traces your result was scored from. If a provider cannot show you charts, ask what the result was scored from.

    Where our clients travel from

Every examination takes place at our Slough office on the Bath Road, just off the M4. These are the towns within easy reach of it, and how to get here from each.

    How It Works

    1

    Booking

Choose a service, pick a slot from the live calendar and pay online to confirm it. Preparation notes and exact directions to our Bath Road office, including where to park, arrive by email with your confirmation.

    2

    Pre-Test Interview

The appointment begins with a conversation, not a machine. You and your examiner agree the questions your test will ask and settle the exact wording, so that nothing in the result can be argued away afterwards.

    3

    The Examination

The whole appointment takes around 90 minutes, so allow two hours. During the examination itself, sensors record your breathing, cardiovascular activity and skin response while you answer the questions already agreed. There are no surprise questions.

    4

    Results

You leave knowing the preliminary result. Within 24 hours the written report follows by email, with the recorded charts and the examiner's analysis explained in plain English.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to the most common questions about polygraph testing

People do not land on this page on a whim. If you have read this far, the question has usually been with you for months. Booking a test is not an accusation and it is not a verdict. It is a decision to find out. The regret we hear about most is the time spent deciding, not the test itself.

A short LPI reference and nothing else. The words polygraph, lie detector and Slough never appear on the transaction, so a shared statement gives nothing away.

Nobody can be tested against their will. Written consent is checked before anything starts, so a reluctant partner cannot simply be booked in. What the offer does is move things on. Agreeing says something. Refusing says something too. Either way you know more than you did, and it has cost you nothing.

A single issue test run properly sits between 90 and 98 percent decision accuracy. What moves that figure is not mysterious: the examiner's training, the instrument, the room and the question technique. All four are worth asking about before you book with anyone.

No. Everyone is nervous when the sensors go on, and the scoring allows for it. The examiner compares your responses to different types of question, not your overall state. A truthful person who is shaking produces the same outcome as a truthful person who is calm.

A single issue test at our Slough office is from £449, paid online when you book, with nothing added on the day. Couples tests are from £695, theft investigations from £499 and pre-employment screening from £549. Each price covers the pre-test interview, the examination at Bath Road and the written report with charts.

No. If your appointment is more than three days away you can secure it with a £149 deposit, and the balance is taken automatically from the same card two days before your test. Nothing to remember and nothing to pay at the office. The deposit is non-refundable because it holds the appointment exclusively for you. If you would rather pay everything upfront you can, including in three instalments with Klarna.
